New training for educators in Narva American Space

We invite educators to apply for the practical training course to be held at the Narva American Space. The main topics will be the use of artificial intelligence tools and other digital capabilities in the work of teachers.

Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration. The number of places is limited. (Meals and training materials are provided by the organizers; transportation and accommodation are not covered.) Registration implies your participation in all days of the project.

Applications: until August 18, 2025. No later than August 20, the organizers will personally contact the participants and confirm their participation.

Target group: teachers (all subjects) from educational institutions in Ida-Viru County.

Venue: Narva American Center (Malmi 8, Narva).

Language: the training will be conducted in Russian.

PROGRAM:

August 26 – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Topics: The possibilities of AI. What is already possible in this field. Creating assignments and checking students' work. Workshop and Q&A.

August 27 – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Topics: Digital security in the age of AI. Digital tools and useful resources for teachers: what will help in your work and where to find ideas.

The training will be conducted by:

Lyudmila Rozhdestvenskaya, educational technologist and teacher. She actively uses AI in her work, finds new solutions, conducts training for colleagues, and shares her experience at conferences and in hep blog.

Julia Rodina - NGO Tuleviku Meedia founder, project manager and media teacher with over 16 years of experience in journalism and communications and 8 years of experience in project management. Over the past three years, more than 300 teachers have participated in Tuleviku Meedia projects.

The course is supported by the Narva American Space.
