Our first media literacy project for educators took place in Tallinn

Our first media literacy project for Russian-speaking school teachers and youth centers' workers from Tallinn, Harjumaa and Ida-Virumaa took place in Tallinn on October 25-27, 2022. The project is organized by MTÜ Tuleviku Meedia in partnership with Delovye Vedomosti/DV.ee (Äripäev) and supported by the British Council. The project involved 30 teachers, youth workers and school psychologists.

Lectures and master classes on media, journalism, fact-checking and methods of teaching media literacy were conducted by Delovye Vedomosti editor-in-chief Polina Volkova, associate professor of the Vidzeme Higher School of Applied Sciences Solvita Denis-Liepniece, DV.ee journalist Olesja Lagashina, ETV+ and Radio 4 journalist Andrei Titov, ETV+ journalist and editor Julia Tisler and founder of MTÜ Tuleviku Meedia Julia Rodina.

Participants visited the editorial office and studios of ERR and ETV+, met DV.ee editorial team and took part in the editorial meeting.
