We invite girls and women to take part in the project about media and entrepreneurship

We invite girls and women to apply for the MTÜ Tuleviku Meedia project supported by the Baltic Centre for Media Excellence. The project will help develop an understanding of media and digital media tools, strengthen entrepreneurial and communicative skills and provide inspiration for further self-development.

If we look at the latest Estonian census data, we see that 52.7 per cent of women and 33.7 per cent of men aged 25-64 have higher education. There are also more women working. However, there is still a significant wage gap in Estonia - 13% not in favour of women.

The Department of Statistics notes that women are more likely to be professionals, while men are more likely to be managers. Men also overtake women in terms of entrepreneurial activity. World data show that women invest many times less. What's the problem? What can help women achieve career achievement, financial independence and fulfilment? Let's talk about this and the role of understanding media and how communication can help us.

Participation in the project is free of charge. The organisers cover participation, study materials, meals. Transport, parking and accommodation in Tallinn are not covered.
