We thank British Council in Estonia for inspiring and supporting the project.
In October and November, 27 educators from Tallinn, Harjumaa and Ida-Virumaa took part in lectures, masterclasses and visited Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR) editorial offices.
Participants met with MTÜ Tuleviku Meedia founder Julia Rodina, RusERR chief editor Tatjana Gassova, ETV+ chief editor Jekaterina Taklaja, Radio 4 editor-in-chief Julia Bali, Radio 4 and ETV+ journalist and host Andrei Titov, ETV+ journalist Julia Tisler and Raadio 4 journalist and guide Natalia Saal.
Educators took a tour behind the scenes and learned how Rus.ERR, Raadio 4 and ETV+ journalists work live, how they do research, interviews, what challenges they face.
The teachers also shared their experiences with colleagues: what know-how they use in their lessons, how to include media elements in different subjects and make lessons more engaging.
Many thanks to our project partners: Rus.ERR, Raadio 4, ETV+.
This project is carried out in cooperation with British Council in Estonia as part of the People to People Cultural Engagement Programme. Find more info about British Council’s work in Estonia at www.britishcouncil.ee
